I create realities that convey hope. However, it is in conflict, in the struggle against adversity, and in facing life’s challenges that my characters find the tension and strength that drive them into adventure. With the insight of a scientist and the imagination of a writer, I weave reality and magic together in my narratives.

I love reading because it allows me to travel through time and space within the pages, learning from other people, places, and circumstances. I have a preference for understated protagonists who, without intending to, end up living great stories, and I adore the peculiar colourful characters who accompany them. So, it’s no coincidence that my main characters are ordinary people who, caught in plots that change their lives, embark on journeys where the impossible becomes a possibility.

I’ve been writing since I was little because, when an idea sparks in my mind, a mechanism starts working and continues running in the background until I face the blank page to shape it. Fortunately, when the characters are well-developed, they take on a life of their own and lend me a hand. It would be very hard to finish a novel without their collaboration!

Knowing that my work resonates with readers is my greatest motivation to share it. After the warm reception of my first novel, Lorac, which transports readers to the marine world and earned me the title of Young Ocean Advocate by the European Commission, I feel even more excited to work on new projects that can bring a ray of light to my readers’ daily lives.
